CHARLES DICKENS WRITES
A CHRISTMAS CAROL
By Charles Dickens
Adapted by Scott Palmer
Directed by Laura Stearns
Runs December 1st to December 23rd
This exciting new adaptation follows author Charles Dickens while he is conceiving and writing a new story called A Christmas Carol. While pondering the plot, he is visited by muses in his head who throw ideas out to him as he forms the story. These muses act out the story, chiming in from time to time with ideas as he writes.

This ensemble cast of seven actors jump from character to character to bring this classic tale to life. Scrooge examines his past, present and future self through a series of eerie, life-changing visits from the ghost of his deceased business partner, Marley, and three spirits who help him see the error of his ways.
A Christmas Carol remains as significant today as when it was first published. It's perfect for families, young and old, and a great introduction to the magic of theatre for that aspiring performer in your home. RSC plans to bring this seasonal show back every year as a Holiday tradition for Palm Springs audiences.
