MEET THE RANKS

Producing Partner

Born into a large family in Pennsylvania, I was entranced by movies as a child, particularly ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ hoping one day to find my own rainbow. I wrote my first musical at eight, sang in the church choir, and performed in high school plays. I loved performing, whether for Grandma or a thousand strangers.
After seeing Angela Lansbury in ‘Gypsy’, I knew I wanted a life in the theatre. I was accepted into the acting and directing program at Emerson College in Boston, and worked at a local theater, pulling bubble gum off the bottom of seats and selling tickets. I came to love that work—selling tickets, not pulling gum— and did box office work for decades, eventually on Broadway.
Working at Boston’s Colonial Theatre, I was mentored by composer John Kander (‘Cabaret’ & ‘Chicago’), who gave me a master class in developing musicals. In NYC, I studied playwriting with Milan Stitt (‘The Runner Stumbles’). Since then, I’ve continued to perform, and have written numerous plays and musicals.
In 2014, husband Miguel and I moved to Southern California. I feel blessed to be collaborating with James Owens and other talented artists in the Coachella Valley, creating a Theatrical Revolution!

Producing Partner
As a lifelong performer and theatre enthusiast, joining Revolution Stage Company is a natural step in my march to bring high-quality, live theatrical experiences to the Valley. It’s my sincere belief that theatre not only inspires but saves lives.
For many, including me, theatre has become my home, my sanctuary, and my place of escape in an otherwise chaotic world - a place to explore the world through expression and fantasy. The world of theatre and its possibilities are unlimited (unintended Wicked reference) and in this limitless world, we get to try anything and watch the magic created through our experiments dazzle the audience!
This is why I LOVE live theatre.
In my nearly three decades in theatre, I have played almost every role on and off stage, from director to sound operator, from ensemble to lead, from committee member to executive board, and everything in between. As a Producing Partner with RSC, it will be my mission to elevate theatre beyond what is expected or thought possible and I personally welcome all who are ready to join the Revolution!
